Coach Spurrier's pass-heavy "Fun-N-Gun" offense was arguably the best offense in SEC history on their way to becoming 1996 National Champs. The Gators averaged 46.6 points per game and scored 76 touchdowns en route to winning their fourth straight SEC championship game. The Gators went 12-1, with their only loss coming to No. 1 FSU (who they would go on to beat in the Sugar Bowl, 52-20).
