This design was inspired by vintage programs, pennants, and buttons for the Drake Relays, one of the most well-known track & field events in the nation since its inception in 1910. The vintage bulldog featured here—used by Drake University from the 1950's through the early 2000's—looks like he could still win a race or two on that famous blue track in Des Moines, Iowa.
