In 1984, the Georgetown Hoyas handled business in the Big East, losing only three games in the regular season by four points or less – an impressive feat. Led by coach John Thompson and buoyed by consistently excellent shooting by Patrick Ewing, Georgetown powered through the 1984 NCAA tournament, defeating Houston for their first national championship. To celebrate their national championship, we designed shooting shirts modeled after their title-winning warmups.
