In 1923 ISU updated their nickname from the "Fightin' Teachers" to the "Redbirds" are they are still known today. Reggie Redbird first started appearing in the 1960s, but wasn't named until 1983 in honor of the baseball great Reggie Jackson. Today, you can proudly wear Reggie on our ultra-soft women's cut tee.
