We recreated a vintage button design for this simple but fun retro design. Lightning has been a common symbol for Kent State since it changed its nickname from “Silver Foxes” to “Golden Flashes” in 1927. What an actual “golden flash” is is unknown; the university claimed the nickname had no real meaning when the change took place.
