“For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.” The words from Rudyard Kipling’s “The Law of the Jungle” mean more to Nevada fans. The student section recites the famous Jungle Book poem before each home football and basketball game, followed by a ferocious wolf howl over the sound system. When we hear that howl, we think of this realistic wolf logo the Pack used briefly from 1983 to 1985.
