The Wolf Pack introduced this “Pack” script in 1985, and it’s been a staple of Nevada football helmets and memorabilia ever since. The team has worn it a number of times in the Battle for Nevada, aka the Fremont Cannon game against UNLV. The trophy, completed in 1970, is a replica of the Howitzer cannon J.C. Fremont brought on his expeditions through the West, including Nevada.
