The Story

In 1923, Oklahoma A&M students decided that famous cowboy Frank B. Eaton, aka “Pistol Pete,” would be the perfect inspiration for a new mascot. Pistol Pete is now synonymous with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and we knew the star of the rodeo belonged on this vintage-inspired bomber jacket. To compliment him, we added a vintage “Cowboys” script on the back, so everyone knows you’re all in on the Pokes. Brought to you in partnership with Oklahoma State's Old Central Collection.
