The Story

We couldn’t make Providence gear without celebrating their Cinderella tournament run in 1987. Entering the tournament as a six seed, the Friars had a miraculous second weekend, defeating two-seed Alabama and one-seed Georgetown – ranked 9th and 4th in the AP poll, respectively. We honored their trip to New Orleans with this vintage recreation.
