Purdue Throwback Pete Football Two-Tone Dad Hat

We consider the students selected to portray Purdue Pete every year to be campus royalty, but, in the early days of Purdue Pete, heavy was the head that wore the papier-mache hard hat. Pete's original head designs were made of papier-mache or fiberglass, before the university designed a soft-sculpture head that helped Pete's actors move more freely.
