The Story

Inspired by vintage memorabilia and collegiate gear from the ‘80s and ‘90s, we put our spin on a retro-inspired Longhorns look featuring the legendary Bevo. Prior to Bevo I’s arrival in 1916, however, Texas had a different live mascot – a pitbull named Pig, who was a fixture of campus life from 1914 until his passing in 1923. Pig and Bevo I briefly served together as university symbols, though it’s not clear if they ever directly interacted.
