Ever since UCLA’s rapid expansion in the 1920’s, the school has been both an athletic powerhouse and cultural hub, living out their motto, “Champions Made Here.” UCLA is one of only six schools to win national championships in men’s basketball, baseball, and football (among their 76 men’s team championships). On the women’s side, their 44th women’s team championship in soccer is also the school’s most recent to date.
